Smartpress.com, the online division of a large commercial printer, needed to enter the uncharted world of online printing services while still delivering a highly personal customer experience. To support its short-run, graphics-heavy business, the company turned to Xerox Corporation and the Xerox® iGen4 Press.

Xerox Corporation helped Smartpress.com build a flexible, turnkey print production environment capable of handling custom quotes, ordering, tracking, and a wide range of substrates and applications. The result was rapid growth: Smartpress.com reached 30 employees, saw revenues rise 100 percent year over year, projected $6 million in 2012 revenue, and produced more than 3.25 million impressions in a single month, with close to 70 percent of business coming from repeat customers.
