Richfield Graphics, a commercial printer with more than 25 years of experience, faced growing demand for shorter print runs and faster turnaround times as its digital colour business expanded. With a rising number of discrete jobs, their existing workflow became difficult to manage efficiently, so they turned to Xerox to help streamline production using digital print and workflow tools.

Xerox implemented a Xerox iGen3 110 Digital Production Press with a Creo Spire Colour Server, along with Xerox FreeFlow Web Services and Xerox FreeFlow Process Manager. The result was higher capacity, more than 500,000 images per month on 30 to 50 jobs per day, and over 40% new digital-specific work won thanks to the new capabilities. Richfield also reported that more than a third of customers now submit orders online, jobs move through the shop in hours instead of days, and the business achieved better margins without adding staff.
