Robert W. Woodruff Library - Customer Case Study

Robert W. Woodruff Library, part of the Atlanta University Center, needed to modernize its printing services as part of a broader renovation and respond to changing technology and student demands. To better support 8,600 students across four institutions, along with faculty, staff, and the wider library community, the library worked with Xerox Corporation to create an on-campus print solution that could deliver the services students and visitors needed without leaving campus.

Xerox Corporation implemented a centralized Copy & Print Center featuring a Xerox® 700 Digital Press and 12 compact color devices, with managed services, flexible hours, and support for a wide range of black-and-white and color output. The result was greater efficiency, faster turnaround, and better service during peak periods, along with a 60% to 75% reduction in library print costs and support for more than 400,000 on-site visitors and nearly 400,000 web visits.
