The City of Henderson, Nevada Print and Mail Center needed to reduce costly outsourcing while better serving city departments and residents with a wider range of print applications. Its existing equipment could not handle some jobs, limited design options, and was not cost-effective for longer runs, prompting the city to seek a more capable digital printing solution from Xerox Corporation.

Xerox Corporation replaced older presses with a Xerox iGen4 Digital Press and upgraded monochrome production with a Xerox 4127 Printing System, while also providing onsite press support. The result was more work kept in-house, higher color quality, and greater application flexibility, including specialty media and inline finishing. The city reported measurable savings such as 70% less on business cards and 30% less on promotional rack cards, along with faster, more cost-effective production of jobs like duplex newsletters and large postcard runs.
