A Xerox Corporation Case Study
Raiffeisen Bank International, through its Raiffeisen Bank Hungary operations, needed better control over printing and document workflow costs across two Budapest office buildings. With a mixed fleet of 72 devices from six suppliers, the bank lacked clear visibility into spending, utilization, and maintenance needs, and wanted a more efficient, environmentally responsible print environment. Xerox Corporation was engaged to assess the fleet and document processes as part of a Managed Print Services engagement.
Xerox Corporation surveyed the devices, costs, and locations, then helped rationalize the fleet by replacing many printers with energy-saving multifunction devices and adding capabilities such as scan-to-email and two-sided printing. Xerox now manages and maintains nearly 1,200 devices across the bank’s offices and 118 branches, with 70% of the fleet being Xerox products. The result was simpler vendor management, transparent reporting down to work-group level, lower document costs, faster workflows, and progress toward Raiffeisen’s environmental goals without impacting customer service.
