Propan AB Lifts Vehicle Lease Rates

Propan AB, a Stockholm-based full-service marketing communications agency and printing provider, worked with Renault to improve the performance of its lease-renewal direct marketing. Renault’s traditional static mail pieces to customers in the final six months of their 36-month leases were generating weak results, so the company wanted to increase new lease signings, win back customers for the Renault Scénic, and collect email addresses for future communications. Xerox Corporation’s XMPie technology was used to power the campaign.

Xerox Corporation, through XMPie, helped Propan AB create a highly personalized cross-media campaign featuring individualized direct mail, personalized URLs, and follow-up email and postcards based on each customer’s lease data and response behavior. The results were strong: after three months, 7.9% of recipients signed a new lease versus 0.8% in traditional campaigns, 50% visited their personal websites, 36% redeemed rebate checks, and 18% shared their email addresses.
