C&C Security Printing Co., Ltd. needed to convert an existing offset-produced children’s educational book into a teacher’s manual with revised content and design, but for a much smaller print run. Xerox Corporation, through the Fuji Xerox iGen3 digital color press, was selected as the digital alternative to offset production to maintain the same quality and vibrancy.

Xerox Corporation’s solution used the iGen3’s color management and imaging system to prepare and print the modified files as a short-run digital job. The result was a manual that retained the offset look and feel of the original while lowering production complexity and cost for a limited quantity, delivering an effective and efficient alternative to conventional offset printing.
