A Xerox Corporation Case Study
St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, an independent university preparatory school in Winnipeg, was struggling with a mixed fleet of printers and copiers that made supplies management, maintenance, and costs difficult to control. To simplify operations and reduce waste, the school turned to Xerox Corporation and Xerox Print Services (XPS) to help optimize its print environment.
Xerox Corporation assessed the school’s environment, replaced costly inkjet devices, and standardized the fleet down to four new Xerox printer models, including color laser printers in each classroom. The result was a cost-neutral refresh with better reliability, detailed billing, automatic supply replenishment, and significant time savings for staff, while also reducing paper and toner use through default black-and-white, double-sided printing.
