Precise color matching and lightning-fast turnaround helps company stay on top of latest trends

Chemcraft, the AkzoNobel brand that produces interior wood coatings and finishes, needed a fast-turnaround trends brochure for a semi-annual distribution meeting. The challenge was to reproduce printed stain samples with precise color matching while meeting a tight production deadline, and they turned to Xerox Corporation through its partner Keiger Printing for digital print production.

Xerox Corporation’s Xerox iGen4 Press, paired with a CX Print Server powered by Creo, was used to produce the brochure from Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files, with finishing completed in-house at Keiger Printing. The vendor printed, bound, and delivered 85 brochures on a very tight deadline, and Chemcraft was pleased with the exact color match and fast turnaround, leading to additional projects and plans for a Web-to-Print portal for sell sheets.
