Pirelli, the global tyre manufacturer, needed to fix an inefficient print environment in its Egypt offices. With more than 80 mixed-brand devices, no local IT department in Cairo, and poor control over print volumes and costs, staff were facing delays and the company was struggling to keep printing operations on time. Pirelli turned to Xerox Corporation for a Managed Print Services (MPS) solution.
Xerox Corporation, working with partner Digitech, assessed Pirelli’s infrastructure and replaced 82 devices with 14 Xerox multifunction printers, supported by Xerox® Device Agent and Xerox® Service Manager for remote monitoring and reporting. The new setup streamlined print management under one provider, reduced IT burden, and delivered measurable gains: 30% savings in printing and copying costs and a 70% increase in productivity.
