Xerox Corporation designed and implemented a digital document management system that connected all campus centers to a central repository, linked to the university’s Student Information System, and added electronic forms to eliminate re-keying. The results were significant: admission processing time dropped from 30 days to 3 days, filing cabinets were reduced by 90%, interoffice communication became real-time, and Park University gained the infrastructure to support enrollment growth of up to 300% without additional staffing.
