OTC Group Solves Package Printing Problems

OTC Group, a London, Ontario-based graphic communications and marketing services company, needed a way to control more of its production workflow, scale fast-growing personalized print programs, and expand into short-run packaging while meeting strict security and compliance requirements. As its business grew, the company looked for a reliable digital print platform and chose Xerox Corporation, starting with a Xerox® 770 Digital Color Press and later adding Xerox® iGen® 150 and iGen4® presses, along with Xerox’s automated packaging solution.

Xerox Corporation helped OTC Group bring print production in-house, automate workflows, and launch an integrated digital packaging operation with serialization and security features for pharmaceutical packaging. The result was a highly controlled, end-to-end solution that tracked every package and waste sheet, supported more than 17,000 cross-media campaigns, and enabled OTC to produce nearly one million serialized doctor samples with 100% accountability. OTC Group reported five straight years of 50% or more growth, expanded into a 25,000-square-foot facility, and built a new revenue stream in solutions-driven packaging.
