Orangedoor Direct, a subsidiary of West Canadian Digital Imaging Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, needed a creative self-promotion campaign that would showcase its 1:1 variable print and e-mail capabilities, generate leads, drive prospects online, and build awareness of its direct marketing services. To support the campaign, Xerox Corporation’s digital printing technology was used to help ensure high-quality color and print output for a piece that would reflect the company’s own standards.

Xerox Corporation helped Orangedoor Direct produce a series of personalized door hangers for decision makers in Calgary and Edmonton, featuring highly individualized creative treatment and personalized URLs. The pieces were produced on a DocuColor 8000 Digital Color Press with XMPie and Fiery EX Print Server, then finished and mailed. The campaign delivered a 4.25% response rate in three weeks, generated 56 new leads, and produced 29 strong sales prospects, while also increasing interest in future personalized campaigns and strengthening customer relationships.
