Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, part of Russian Helicopters, moved its Experimental Design Bureau into a new building at the National Helicopter Manufacturing Center and needed to modernize and streamline a large, fragmented printing environment. The company wanted to replace more than 1,000 personal desktop printers with efficient shared print rooms, lower energy use and costs, improve document handling, and introduce a unified fax and mobile printing setup.

Xerox, working with partner Asteros, implemented the project in two phases using Xerox MFPs and printers such as WorkCentre models, ColorQube, and wide-format devices, along with Follow Me mobile printing and centralized workflow tools. Xerox helped reduce the number of print devices by six times to under 200, cut energy consumption, improve 24x7 availability and document tracking, and deliver an average 25% cost savings.
