MBA Group Ltd., a U.K.-based provider of fully integrated print solutions, partnered with Xerox Corporation to help Print Media Management (PMM) revive its magazine amid declining ad revenue and changing reading habits. The challenge was to make the publication more relevant, targeted, and engaging for different audiences, while improving reader and advertiser loyalty.

Xerox Corporation supported the creation of the world’s first 100% variable content magazine by using a Xerox® 980 Color Continuous Feed Printer, XMPie®, and Xerox® FreeFlow® Process Manager to manage personalized content and streamline production. The result was 12,400 personalized magazines across 60 pages, 256% more leads from targeted ads, reduced environmental impact, and more than £1 million in revenue generated in the first year of ownership.
