MAR Graphics, a trade printer serving distributors and brokers, was asked to help a government agency cut the cost and complexity of printing and fulfilling vehicle permit stickers. The job required durable, colorfast stickers with authentication and anti-forgery features that could withstand harsh weather and remain secure for the full year of issue. Xerox Corporation supported the project with Xerox Nuvera® and Xerox® FreeFlow® VIPP®.

Xerox Corporation helped MAR Graphics create an all-in-one, on-demand document using a customized offset-printed base stock, personalized weekly on a Xerox Nuvera® and automated with Xerox® FreeFlow® VIPP®. The finished solution combined the registration document and stickers with security features such as ThermoInk, microprint, hidden elements, and UV-reactive varnish. The result saved the government agency 30%–40% in print and fulfillment costs, improved turnaround, and delivered a secure, reliable process that has run in full production without issue.
