Kelly Services, a leading staffing and employment company headquartered in Troy, Michigan, needed to replace an aging fleet of printers, copiers, and faxes that was out of warranty, costly to manage, and no longer meeting user needs. The company also lacked visibility into print spending and wanted a more strategic approach that could support process improvement. Kelly Services turned to Xerox Corporation and Xerox Managed Print Services to modernize its print environment.

Xerox Corporation implemented a centralized managed print solution across 500 branches, reducing 2,780 devices to 747 standardized multifunction devices and increasing the user-to-device ratio from 1.5:1 to 6:1. The results included greater visibility and control over print costs, more efficient processes such as contract scanning, improved print quality, reclaimed office space, and reduced monthly invoice processing. Kelly Services reported more than 12% in hard-dollar printing cost savings, six-figure annual savings, and projected sustainability savings of 50%.
