Citibank Bulgaria, part of Citibank Inc., was growing rapidly and needed a better way to manage bank statement and excerpt delivery for its corporate clients. To improve customer service, reduce printing, and cut costs, the bank turned to Xerox Corporation for a more efficient and sustainable communications process, replacing a high-volume paper-based system that was printing 95,000 pages of statements per month.
Xerox Corporation implemented its e-Delivery & Archiving Solutions (EDAS), a web-based system that delivered account excerpts electronically, managed email and postal mailing lists, and securely archived documents with BlueOcean in compliance with legal requirements. The results included a 33% reduction in statement printing and delivery costs, lower paper/toner/energy use, streamlined workflows, faster access to statements, and improved customer satisfaction through richer, more timely account information.
