A Xerox Corporation Case Study
Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), a Germany-based full-service provider supporting public-sector and utility customers, needed to adapt to changing transactional print demands: more color, shorter runs, faster turnarounds, and less dependence on preprinted stock, outsourced inserts, and commercial overprinting. Traditional cut-sheet monochrome and color workflows were no longer flexible or efficient enough.
Xerox Corporation helped GISA transition to the Xerox® Rialto® 900 Inkjet Press, turning its operation into a white paper factory with roll-in, cut-sheet-out production and in-house transpromo capabilities. The result was color statements at the same cost as black and white, eliminated inventory and storage costs, fewer touchpoints by moving from inserts to onserts, personalized content based on statement data, reduced waste, and a much smaller footprint that fit GISA’s tight production space.
