A Xerox Corporation Case Study

Georgetown University - Customer Case Study

Georgetown University’s advancement office needed a better way to manage a printer environment that had grown too large and decentralized, with 130 desktop printers for 300 employees, no clear visibility into spending, and limited backing for change. Xerox Corporation worked with Georgetown to assess the environment and identify an approach using Xerox Managed Print Services (MPS).

Xerox Corporation implemented MPS to manage multifunction devices, supplies, maintenance, and one-call support, supported by device monitoring and detailed reporting. The result was a seamless rollout, immediate net savings of 8 percent before full implementation, improved sustainability through toner recycling, greater control over print usage, and freed-up IT staff time to focus on higher-value support work.
