Case Study: Cathedral Corporation achieves clearer, more profitable statements with Xerox digital printing

A Xerox Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Cathedral Corporation Case Study

Full-color digital printing enhances account statement and opens more profitable possibilities

Cathedral Corporation helped Citadel, a credit union in southeastern Pennsylvania, modernize its outdated monthly account statements. Citadel needed a way to improve brand consistency, make statements easier to read, and reduce the high volume of customer calls caused by confusing black-and-white, preprinted statements that were decades old. Xerox Corporation technology was used in the project, including the Xerox® 980 Color Continuous Feed Printer and Xerox® FreeFlow® Digital Workflow Collection.

Xerox Corporation and Cathedral Corporation redesigned the statements with full-color digital printing, clearer layout, and targeted variable messages and photos. The new process also combined transaction data with rewards-point information, enabling up to 10 unique messages for 10 member groups in a single cycle. The result was more usable statements, better member satisfaction, fewer support calls, elimination of separate reward and offer mailings, and lower production, materials, and postage costs.
