Xerox Corporation implemented digital mail management and print production optimization services, including sorting, scanning, and initial indexing of incoming mail, processing around 600,000 insurance forms annually, replacing printing devices, and adding automation, tracking, reporting, and disaster recovery. The result was €1.7 million in savings over the life of the contract, a 25% reduction in the cost of producing 20 million outgoing customer documents, improved productivity and production integrity, and the ability to handle peak mail volumes without adding resources.
