Exterran, a global oil and gas solutions company with 10,000 employees across more than 30 countries, needed help managing a highly dispersed print environment across remote U.S. and international sites, including locations with no network connectivity. With printer maintenance and uncontrolled print costs creating a burden for its IT team, Exterran turned to Xerox Corporation for a managed print solution.

Xerox Corporation implemented Managed Print Services to reconfigure Exterran’s print infrastructure, handle supplies and maintenance, and reduce desktop printer sprawl. The rollout removed more than 400 personal printers, lowered toner, ink, supply, and maintenance costs, and is projected to deliver more than half a million dollars in savings while freeing IT to focus on higher-value work.
