Emerson Direct Communication, a leading independent lettershop in Central and Eastern Europe, needed to differentiate its direct mail and multichannel offerings for large B2C clients in telecom, banking, insurance, and retail. Working with Xerox Corporation, Emerson DC invested in XMPie uDirect as an extension of its existing direct mail capabilities to add more personalized, relevant, and innovative customer communications.
Xerox Corporation helped Emerson Direct Communication launch its Pinpoint Personalized Cross-Media program, combining print, SMS, email, personalized websites, and personalized video. The approach quickly generated strong client interest and business results: within months of launch, Emerson DC was fully booked with campaigns, had 15–20 campaigns scheduled for the first half of the following year, and found that clients consistently loved the personalized video offering.
