A Xerox Corporation Case Study
East Rochester Union Free School District, a public district serving about 1,200 students in Upstate New York, wanted to help students and staff adopt new tools and technologies while moving toward a more efficient, centralized print environment. Working with Xerox Corporation, the district began transitioning away from more than 100 small classroom printers and toward larger Xerox multifunction printers and other Xerox office fleet devices, including ColorQube, WorkCentre, and ConnectKey models.
Xerox Corporation helped the district implement a phased print strategy that deployed five large Xerox MFPs across campus, later adding two more and testing a Xerox WorkCentre 7225 in the library. The result was broader use of the feature-rich Xerox devices, reduced in-classroom printing, and a stronger shift toward electronic documents. Students and teachers quickly adopted the new tools, using them to save time and money on projects, club activities, and internal communications.
