Earthcolor Launches Revamped Annual Plan Review

EarthColor, Inc., a large U.S. commercial printer, partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial Communications to create an Annual Plan Review for retirement plan sponsors and fiduciaries. The challenge was to turn complex plan data, participant demographics, investment information, and market analysis into a clear, easy-to-read transpromo document that added value for the customer’s record-keeping platform. Xerox Corporation’s technology was used to support the production workflow.

Xerox Corporation helped EarthColor automate the end-to-end process, from web-based data retrieval and XML translation through preflight, imposition, scheduling, and printing on Xerox iGen4 digital presses with FreeFlow software. The solution also included ORIS Certified Proof, barcode-based shipping, and automated binding and fulfillment. As a result, clients received a single convenient source for plan and market data, sales of the Annual Plan Review grew, and EarthColor strengthened its position as a full-service solution provider with a competitive advantage in the market.
