The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a youth charity in the UK, wanted to create personalized hardcover Achievement Packs from the online content of its 275,000+ participants. They approached DG3 Europe Limited, who worked with Xerox to develop a robust Web-to-Print solution to handle the massive and variable data volume required for this project.
DG3 and Xerox implemented an automated workflow using a GMC server, a dedicated web portal, and the Xerox FreeFlow Process Manager to produce the books on Xerox iGen4 Digital Presses. This solution resulted in a 637% increase in participation for the memory books, creating a major promotional success for the charity and showcasing DG3's capabilities.
