Delivering quality materials that reflect a quality institution

Bucknell University’s Office of Publications, Print and Mail needed to produce high-quality printed materials that matched the university’s reputation while staying within tight timelines and budgets. To meet demand for brochures, invitations, newsletters, and other campus communications, the department relied on Xerox digital printing technology, including the Xerox Color 800 Press, DocuColor 252, Xerox Nuvera 100, and Xerox 4595 copier/printer.

Xerox helped Bucknell University keep more work in-house, improve print quality, and respond quickly to last-minute requests. The Xerox Color 800 Press delivered smooth, offset-like output and could run at rated speed on all stock types, helping color volume jump from a monthly average of 36,000 impressions to 125,000 in the first month. Overall, Bucknell now produces nearly 7 million pages annually, with two-thirds printed digitally and more than 3.7 million monochrome impressions handled by Xerox equipment each year.
