DATA Communications Management, one of Canada’s largest integrated print services providers, wanted to grow print volumes, expand its digital business, and improve efficiency so it could do more, faster. To support that goal, the company turned to Xerox Corporation and the Xerox® iGen® 5 Press as a next-generation digital production platform.

Xerox Corporation implemented an automated, end-to-end solution built around three Xerox® iGen® 5 Presses, Xerox® FreeFlow® Core, and inline finishing. The extended-gamut 5th print station helped DATA match PANTONE® colors digitally and reduce offset short runs, while thicker-stock and specialty-media capabilities opened new applications like digital packaging; results included more than 2 million clicks per month, improved uptime and efficiency, faster turnaround times, and less need for warehousing and obsolescence.
