Dar El Ashaa, a nuclear medicine and radiology provider in Alexandria, Egypt, wanted to improve the quality and efficiency of its imaging workflow while reducing reliance on expensive, time-consuming film printing. The company also needed a more environmentally friendly alternative and better tools to support clearer diagnoses and customer service, so it turned to Xerox Corporation for help, including Xerox Managed Print Services and radiology printing technology.

Xerox Corporation analyzed Dar El Ashaa’s print environment and implemented seven Xerox Color 560 printers through its partner Digitech, enabling radiology images to be printed on plain paper with film-like quality. The new solution delivered up to 60% cost savings, allowed color X-rays and higher-resolution monochrome and color images, improved flexibility for sharing, scanning, faxing, and annotating images, and reduced maintenance costs while improving service for physicians and patients.
