A Xerox Corporation Case Study

Preview of the De Budelse BV Case Study

Custom packaging solution generates 675 orders per month in only 12 months

De Budelse BV, a printing and marketing services provider, sought to grow its business by focusing on producing high volumes of custom pharmaceutical packaging in very small quantities and developing automated IT web solutions. Their challenge was to efficiently combine orders from many customers to make these short runs cost-effective while improving their connection with clients. To address this, they developed a solution centered around their Xerox iGen4 Press.

Xerox’s digital printing technology, powered by an iGen4 Press and XMPie software, enabled De Budelse to launch a fully automated web-to-packaging solution. This allowed customers to easily design and order custom boxes online in quantities as low as 50 pieces. The results were highly successful, expanding their reach to seven European countries and increasing print runs by 50%. In Belgium alone, the solution generated an average of 675 unique orders per month, proving to be both a cost-effective and environmentally friendly service for their clients.
