Century Image Finds Growth with In-House Print

Century Image, a Romanian graphic design and digital printing agency, needed to bring printing in-house to serve corporate and individual clients who wanted offset-quality digital prints, fast turnaround, and specialized applications such as photo albums. To meet this challenge, Century Image worked with Xerox Corporation and its partner 2M Digital to add a Xerox® DocuColor® 8080 Digital Press to its existing Xerox fleet.

Xerox Corporation implemented a solution built around the Xerox® DocuColor® 8080, supported by finishing options and MPhoto software for photo-book creation, along with Fastbind finishing devices for binding and assembly. The result was faster in-house production, higher-quality output, and new business from other agencies across Romania; Century Image produced 50,000 A4 prints in the first month and expected to reach 100,000 A4 prints per month, while also increasing profit by about 20%.
