Accutech Packaging Grows Business with Digital Print

Accutech Packaging, a Foxboro, MA packaging solutions provider, needed a way to reduce waste, inventory obsolescence, and fulfillment costs for short-run folding cartons and related packaging. To support this shift, the company invested in Xerox digital print technology, including the Xerox 700 Digital Color Press, Xerox Color 800 Press, and Xerox iGen4, to bring more packaging production in-house and handle heavier stocks and larger sheet sizes.

With Xerox digital presses, Accutech Packaging created more efficient packaging solutions such as digitally printed sleeves, specialty envelopes, corrugated display headers, variable-data barcodes, and prototype packaging. The result was lower inventory and faster turnaround for customers, with one account moving to a weekly order cycle and minimal stock on hand. Accutech also reported 20% growth in its paper and paperboard converting business thanks to the introduction of Xerox digital technology.
