Paul Cartmel of NML has figured out a smarter way to work

NML, a financial services software firm founded by Paul Cartmel, needed a better way to handle its bookkeeping and accounting. Its existing system was clunky, hard to understand, and made it difficult to manage the business effectively. NML turned to Xero, with support from PKF Ignite, to modernize its finance operations.

Xero helped NML implement a cloud-based accounting setup for accounts, payroll, and invoicing, alongside integrations with Dext and Spotlight. With Xero’s API, Paul was also able to build a connected ecosystem of apps. The result was a simpler, more transparent system that improved usability, enabled remote working, and freed up time by automating processes.
