Kristen’s Kick-ass Ice Cream talks about seamless collaboration

Kristen Buttress of Kristen’s Kick-Ass Ice Cream was struggling with time-consuming admin as her business grew from a single operation to three stores in South Africa and one in Mauritius. She turned to Xero, along with connected apps and support from Iridium Business Solutions, to help manage invoicing, paperwork, and day-to-day finances more efficiently.

Xero helped Kristen create a seamless workflow with apps like Shopify, Vend, SimplePay, and Dext, giving her real-time visibility into receivables, payables, and cash flow. As a result, she cut paperwork from about 30 hours a month to around two, sold more than 5,000 tubs of ice cream during hard lockdown through delivery, and gained the financial clarity to open a new store and spend more time with her family.
