A XenTegra Case Study
The YMCA of Greater Charlotte, a nonprofit community organization, faced challenges with its aging endpoint hardware, which impacted the security and reliability of its member check-in process. Supply chain delays further complicated their efforts to modernize. To address these issues, the YMCA partnered with vendor XenTegra to expand its use of IGEL OS.
XenTegra provided a solution that included additional IGEL OS licenses and new thin clients, enabling centralized management and secure access to applications. This approach saved 20-30 minutes of management time per endpoint and created a more secure, read-only environment. The partnership with XenTegra provided the YMCA with hardware flexibility, stronger security, and a more efficient check-in experience for its members.
