Viding is an Indonesian virtual wedding platform that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic to help couples host ceremonies with limited in-person attendance. To make virtual weddings more complete, Viding needed a way for guests to send wedding gifts online through convenient payment options, and it partnered with Xendit for payment processing.

Using Xendit’s money-in feature, Viding launched its E-Angpao service, enabling guests to send gifts via bank transfers, credit cards, e-wallets, and other online channels. The solution quickly became a popular feature for brides and guests, helping Viding organize 350+ weddings in the past 9 months and positioning the company to target 1,000 weddings in 2021 as it expanded across Indonesia and beyond.
