Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) needed a platform with power flow and multi-node analysis capabilities to support its microgrid research for the U.S. Department of Defense and to conduct research on new hydropower projects. This research was critical for the laboratory to secure additional funding.

PNNL turned to Xendee to provide the necessary software platform and research support. With Xendee, PNNL was able to analyze and optimize DoD microgrids and evaluate new hydropower potential. This partnership enabled PNNL to secure additional research funding and also resulted in expanded capabilities for the Xendee platform itself.
