a global renewable energy consultancy and EPC was looking to develop a distributed energy resource (DER) solution for a greenfield electric truck stop. The challenge was to quickly and economically construct a resilient facility while navigating infrastructure constraints and grant requirements.

Using the Xendee platform, the client modeled dozens of scenarios to determine the optimal mix of solar, battery, and generator technologies. Xendee enabled the client to understand the financial risks of different EV penetration scenarios and to select the optimal DER mix for an islanded microgrid, allowing the project to proceed.
