A XenData Case Study
The National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE) needed a way to monitor and preserve content from more than 2,300 TV and radio channels across 150 facilities, ensuring fair political coverage and maintaining the integrity of archived material. To meet this country-wide challenge, INE selected XenData along with integration partners to support remote monitoring and long-term archiving.
XenData implemented 150 LTO archive systems using XenData Archive Series software, Windows Server, and Dell PowerVault TL2000 tape libraries integrated with Volicon Observer. The solution provided immediate access to monitored content, strong data protection, and reliable unattended operation across remote sites, and it was delivered on time and within budget. Six years later, the architecture was still in successful use, with XenData supporting an upgrade to LTO-6 and newer server hardware.
