Astana Media Center in Kazakhstan needed a modern, scalable way to support program production, news, radio broadcasting, and the country’s National Media Archive in one state-of-the-art facility. XenData was part of the media technology environment supporting this large-scale broadcast operation, helping address the center’s need for secure, efficient archive management alongside complex production workflows.
The solution centered on Dalet Enterprise Edition as the MAM backbone, with integrated systems across production, news, radio, and archiving workflows, including XenData archiving software connected to a Qualstar tape library. The result was a highly integrated platform built to support up to 450 simultaneous users, 20 TV channels, 10 radio channels, 50 edit suites, and 35 audio production suites, improving content management, workflow efficiency, and secure preservation of Kazakhstan’s official media archive.
