Crew Cuts Chooses XenData To Deliver Automated Digital Video Archiving Integrated with MXFserver

Crew Cuts, a commercial and film editing company, needed to replace scattered external and personal drives with a more centralized, collaborative storage environment. To support an automated workflow from ingest through edit, distribution, and long-term archival storage, the company chose XenData’s SX-522 Archive Server, integrated with MXFserver and axleGear Media Asset Management.

XenData implemented a solution built around the SX-522 Archive Server managing a robotic LTO library, giving Crew Cuts a unified platform for project management, asset cataloging, and low-cost long-term archiving. The result was a smoother production workflow, easier reuse and retrieval of older project materials, and the ability to archive and restore full projects or individual files while reducing costs and keeping assets protected.
