This transformation freed up the team to perform root cause analysis and pursue recoveries, resulting in $2.4 million recovered from missing credits and $5.5 million captured in early payment discounts. Their on-time payment performance improved to 98%, and the platform helped identify $44 million worth of missing invoices, allowing UPMC to shift from reactive firefighting to proactive supplier management and gain a stronger position in contract negotiations.
