Tasty Plc (trading as Wildwood and dim t) is a UK casual-dining operator with 53 restaurants processing thousands of orders a year. Faced with frequent errors and costly incorrect deliveries, Tasty needed an automated EDI solution to streamline ordering and invoicing — a requirement they met by engaging XEDI to integrate with their existing Comtrex and Sage back-office systems.

XEDI merged multiple ERP data streams to create an enterprise EDI system: restaurants notify Comtrex to restock, Comtrex creates orders that are processed through XEDI and passed to Sage for invoicing. XEDI’s integration delivered a centralised, automated process that cuts manual administration time, reduces order/invoice errors and allows Tasty to process thousands of orders accurately as it grows.
