Magellan Healthcare, a Fortune 500 leader in managing complex health needs, wanted to move from B2B into B2C with Magellan Restore but found their existing web app outdated, impersonal and poorly engaging. The one-size-fits-all approach failed to connect with diverse patients (e.g., insomnia, anxiety, depression), so Magellan needed a customer-centric, mobile-first solution to deliver tailored clinical journeys.
xcube LABS built a suite of ailment-specific mobile apps (Restore, FearFighter, MoodCalmer, Pain, OCFighter) using a middleware on the existing backend, HealthKit integration, gamified modules, offline sync and in-app purchases, plus a redesigned UI and simpler questionnaires. The apps deliver CBT-based programs and interactive resources; the Restore app’s clinically proven CBT program has been shown to improve sleep for more than 80% of participants, driving better engagement and personalized care.
