24 Hour Fitness, a leading health-club chain serving about 4 million members across 500+ clubs, partnered with [x]cubeLABS to revamp its My24 app after version 1.0 suffered from an unappealing UI, frequent crashes, buggy animations, unreliable class schedule timings and ineffective support — issues that contributed to low class turnout and poor user engagement.

[x]cubeLABS rebuilt the app (iOS Objective‑C and Android SDK), redesigned a tile‑based, brand-driven UI, added GPS, membership management, social sharing, calculators, video tutorials and analytics, and fixed timing by syncing a third‑party time server and by disabling the UI during complex animations. The relaunch earned W3 Silver and Davey awards, lifted the app store rating from 3.3 to 4.6 (top‑10 category ranking), drove a 10% increase in memberships and reduced customer churn by 12%.
