The Ministry of Education Malaysia needed to transform learning for 5.5 million children across 10,000 schools, overcoming a large urban-rural divide and low ICT adoption in classrooms. It selected **Xchanging** as fulfilment partner, alongside YTL Communications and Frog, to help deliver the 1BestariNet initiative, a nationwide cloud-based virtual learning environment over high-speed internet.

**Xchanging** implemented and managed the end-to-end integration of connectivity, platform, content, devices and authentication for 1BestariNet, creating the world’s first nationwide school-in-the-cloud deployment in Malaysia. The solution connected 5.5 million students, 500,000 teachers and 4.5 million parents, helped schools adopt the platform ahead of plan, and enabled wider access to interactive content, better collaboration, and more efficient teaching and administration.
