Generali selects Xuber for Insurers

Generali Group, one of Europe’s largest insurance providers, needed to transform its ageing UK non-life systems to reduce operational risk, improve transparency and control, and create a stronger data foundation for reporting and analysis. Xchanging worked with Generali on the Xcalibur programme, using Xuber for Insurers as the core business administration platform.

Xchanging implemented an integrated solution with Xuber for Insurers, Knowledge Centre, Business Objects XI, risk modelling tools, and SAP accounting interfaces, alongside major data migration and infrastructure changes. The result was an adaptive, agile platform with automated processing and matching of policies, claims, and account messages, clearer access to information, and improved reporting; the project also migrated more than 39 million historical technical account records, 3.6 million claim movements, and nearly 800,000 policies.
