AEGIS London, the UK-based subsidiary of AEGIS and operator of Lloyd’s Syndicate 1225, needed a more resilient and scalable way to manage reporting data as its in-house database had grown into an ad hoc mix of systems and data pockets. Xchanging helped address the challenge with its OPEN Data Warehouse, alongside AEGIS London’s existing policy administration platforms, to create a central reporting solution for day-to-day business enquiries and mandatory returns.

Xchanging implemented a customized OPEN Data Warehouse that consolidated data from multiple internal and third-party sources into streamlined datasets and reports. The solution went live in October 2012, giving AEGIS London better-quality, validated data, faster and more confident decision-making, and a flexible foundation for future growth, including reporting systems, currency modules, and dashboards.
