Identity Theft and Breach Services Provider worked with XCentium to improve the user experience for its clients’ users across a complex, multi-site Sitecore extranet environment. The challenge was to let users automatically log in to a chosen third-party Learning Management System after signing into their Sitecore profile, while also giving the client the ability to turn single sign-on on or off by site without impacting hundreds of other sites.

XCentium wrapped the Learning Management System API into a reusable .NET solution and integrated it with Sitecore extranet profiles for both new account creation and existing-user login flows. XCentium also updated only the necessary Sitecore items and templates to support per-site single sign-on, delivering a seamless experience, completing the project to the client’s satisfaction, and earning follow-on work; the LMS provider also gained reusable code it could package into a .dll for other customers.
